YMCA Healthy Kids Day and Duck Race

YMCA Healthy Kids Day and Duck Race

Healthy Kids Day is the Y's offical start to the BEST SUMMER EVER! We understand that health begins at home, and we support families in their efforts to build the five pillars that support a healthy family home. Healthy Kids Day offeres tips, strategies and fun activites to help families improve their home environments and adopt healthier habits.

Fatal drowning remains the second-leading cause of unintentional injury-related death for children ages 1 to 14 years. With summer right around the corner the Y is working to reverse this statistic and prevent drowning through swim lessons and water safety instruction.

Please consider supporting our Aquatics program by participating in our Annual Duck Race! Your gift can ensure more young people gain important skills that could save their life by purchasing ducks to enter into the duck race.
