Navigating the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017

Navigating the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017
With the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act coming into reality for 2018, it’s best to get ahead of the game and learn the basics, what affects you for your personal tax return, but if you’re a business, going beyond and learning more about the tax laws can best afford you deductions and additional items you've never even thought about. This workshop will review the major elements such as: what are the reduced tax rates for businesses and individuals; how the standard deduction simplifies the personal tax return and how eliminating the family exemptions reduces the need to itemize deductions; the increase in family tax credits; limiting deductions for state and local income taxes (SALT) and property taxes as well as further limiting the mortgage interest deduction; reducing the alternative minimum tax for individuals and eliminating it for corporations; reducing the number of estates impacted by the estate tax; and repealing the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

At Hathhorn CPA + Accounting Air, we want our clients to get ahead of the game so there are no surprises come January 2019. We’re a very proactive firm that embraces change and new ideas, which set ourselves apart from the average CPA firm in the Kansas City Metro.

Please join us on May 24th at 10:30 am to see how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Acts affects you and how we can help you properly plan for those changes and where you go from here.

Contact us today!  Limit 9 participants.
