Sustainability Tip... Reduce Carbon Footprints
Did you know that you can reduce your carbon footprint by becoming a minimalist? Less is better for the environment! Declutter and invest in quality over quantity.
One place you can start is with your wardrobe. Clothing and textiles account for 10% of the global carbon footprint! That is huge! Purchasing good quality items infrequently rather than poor quality frequently helps keep our personal carbon footprints down. Fast fashion is a scourge on the planet. Buying just a few good quality pieces and wearing them over and over again is more sustainable.
Quality doesn't necessarily have to be expensive. Consider shopping at resale and consignment shops where you can get high-quality garments at bargain shop prices. Buying second hand is a great way to reuse and recycle and often supports a local worthwhile charity at the same time.
So reduce your carbon footprints!!
