Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is a faith-based, non-profit organization that serves more than 70,000 people across 21 counties. We welcome and open our hearts to all races, religions and ethnicities. We offer a variety of services to provide hope, help and hospitality to the most vulnerable men, women and children in our community. Nearly 40% of all people served by Catholic Charities are children under the age of 17.

Our services span from the beginning of life to the end of life, and include: pregnancy counseling and adoption, kids summer food programs, food pantries, retail clothing thrift stores, homeless shelters, case management services, direct financial assistance, housing/rent assistance, financial literacy & education, employment search, refugee resettlement, and several senior care services, including Catholic Community Hospice.

Our geographic service footprint represents nearly 60% of the population in the state of Kansas, with Emergency Assistance Centers in Kansas City, Kansas, Overland Park, Olathe, Topeka, Lawrence, Leavenworth, Atchison and Emporia. We also operate two mobile resource buses in the northern and southern rural counties.

There are many ways individuals, families, churches, businesses, schools and organizations can engage with Catholic Charities on unique service opportunities.
