Webinar: Utilizing Microsoft Teams for Your Business

Webinar: Utilizing Microsoft Teams for Your Business

As many businesses are currently working from home, it can be tough to keep everyone on the same page, even with online video conferencing. Microsoft Teams is a resource that can help.

Denise Kruse, Stacy Rose, and Jacob Orrison from Leawood Chamber member, AdamsGabbert, will lead a webinar on showing small to mid-size businesses how to take advantage of what Teams has to offer. Even if you’re currently using Teams, there are likely tools you'll discover you could be utilizing.

From document sharing, virtual communication, and many other collaboration tools, this session will help make working from home a little easier –at least on the technology side. Plus some tips on how to keep your culture, and your sense of humor, alive!

You do not have to have Microsoft Teams installed in order to particpate in this webinar.

Webinar: Fear - Are You Leaning In or Out?

Webinar: Fear - Are You Leaning In or Out?

Who’s feeling FEAR out there? Fear can be caused by our:

Jobs and business;

Economy and political climate; and/or

Family, marriage, parenting, etc.

Some of us can check all the above boxes and it may be consuming us.

During this interactive session, we will share thoughts, ideas, and tactics on how to LEAN in to our fears, rather than out. Discover how to remain calm, in control, and productive during trying times.

About Dan Stalp

Dan has over 26 years of experience leading, training, and coaching high performing individuals.

He has risked everything and completely started over twice career wise, once in 1993 and again in 2005 by co-founding and founding his own firm.

Dan has co-authored two books "The Reunion" and "Another Reunion" about career significance and how pursing what you were “meant to do” - along with being grateful - plays an instrumental role in being the best you can be.

He is blessed to be a mentor with the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program in Kansas City. He is asked to be interviewed on numerous panels and radio programs concerning sales, sales management and leadership.

When not being mistaken for a certain Hollywood movie star, Dan and his wife Lisa of 28 years are traveling to Dallas Texas and to Fayetteville Arkansas to visit their two grown daughters. Or they are attending rugby and lacrosse events for their high school and college aged sons.

Chamber Luncheon -The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art: A History

Kristie Wolferman will tell her story of how she came to write her book, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art: A History. She’ll share the serendipity of people, circumstances, and events that led to Kansas City acquiring a world class art museum. Expect to hear the history on how Mary McAfee Atkins, William Rockhill Nelson, Nelson’s family, and the trustees of their estates wanted an art collection accessible to all people in the region. Learn about the uniqueness of the museum from the beginning with innovations in construction and the collection. Understand the importance of education from the beginning of the museum. See the future of the museum, one of the gems of our city, and how it depends on our support as the museum continues to evolve to meet the needs of its patrons.

Wolferman's book is available on Amazon, at the Nelson-Atkins bookstore, at Rainy Day Books, and at some Barnes and Noble stores. Her book will not be sold at the luncheon but she is happy to autograph at the event if you have a book with you.

Thank you to our sponsor:
