Menorah Medical Center To Begin Construction on Neurocience and Orthopedic Center This Summer
Menorah Medical Center will begin construction on a $65 million Neuroscience and Orthopedic Center on its Overland Park campus this summer.
The three-story, 92,000-square-foot tower will feature 32 fully private inpatient rooms, six dedicated neurosurgical and orthopedic operating rooms, and private medical and surgical acute care beds. The tower will also have the ability to add two more operating rooms and expand an additional three floors to accommodate future needs.
The new center will be on the east side of the campus and connect to the main entrance of the hospital.
Approximately thirty new jobs will be added to the community, with the biggest increase in jobs coming from surgical nursing and technologist staff, along with ancillary services.
